Coffee Manufacturing and Brewing Equipment

Coffee brewing residues such as water scale and coffee stains can be effectively removed with a mild acid detergent. A low foaming cleaner like Citrajet can be run through the internal components with proper water rinsing. Citranox, high foaming cleaner, can be used manually for external components that have coffee stains and water scale.

How To Clean:

  1. Add 1 cup (230g) Citranox to a 4 gal (15L) commercial bucket filled with warm to hot water. (For automated cleaning, run a diluted solution of Citrajet through the line.)
  2. Use a scrub pad or brush dipped in the Citranox solution and wash parts.
  3. Rinse thoroughly running tap water over the cleaned parts.
  4. Dry thoroughly.
  5. Repeat as specified by equipment manufacturer or as scale build up is noticed.
  6. Do not use on internal parts with automated cleaning systems.

Additional Cleaning Tips:

Use warm to hot water to achieve more effective cleaning results.
