Cleaning Restaurant Windows
Q. We want to eliminate extra chemicals in the restaurant. Do you have a product that can I can use on multiple things around the store including windows?
A. Yes. This is a great idea! The more chemicals in the back storage area, the more procurement hassle and risk of using the wrong product! The Alconox Inc. foodservice program offers a lean cleaning approach where a few core products come with a wide range of uses.
You can use Liquinox® or Alconox PFS® around the kitchen and it is great on windows (Liquinox is great on all glassware including wine glasses). You can use it in a bucket or spray bottle. If you can up a solution you can store it airtight for up to two weeks. Here are some basics:
Add 2/3 cup of Liquinox or Alconox PFS detergent to 4 gallons of warm water. Wash windows with the detergent solution. Use a squeegee to remove the solution, or rinse thoroughly with a hose.
