During pre-service is a great time to degrease the warming oven. Having the oven up to temp will allow the detergent solution to work quickly. Time and temperature are the key factors in cleaning effectiveness. In this case, the hot metal will work to your advantage for fast results.

How To Clean:

  1. Dissolve 2 tbsp (30g) of detergent [for Detonox, use 6 tbsp (90g)] per 1 gal (4L) of warm water.
  2. Use a spray bottle and rag or scrub brush on surfaces to thoroughly clean. For heavy residue, let detergent solution sit for 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse three times and dry thoroughly.
