Grill Cleaning

Flat grill tops are best cleaned when the grill is hot. Use a spray bottle with either a powder or liquid mild detergent. Scrub with a non abrasive pad and rinse thoroughly and quickly to avoid evaporation.

How To Clean:

  1. Make a thin paste with the detergent, using 50/50 detergent and water.
  2. Either make the paste using boiling water or heat the grill surface over the stains. The paste should look watery with some clumps of detergent.
  3. Apply the paste over the stains and let it sit for a few minutes. If the water is evaporating, you can add more.
  4. Use a grill scrub pad and scrub the stained area as well as the rest of the grill. If applicable, rinse the grill with potable water.

Additional Cleaning Tips:

These detergents will work effectively on Chrome grill tops. The detergents will remove the residues and shine the chrome to a “sparkling brilliance.”
